Why
leading architects, designers and custom-builders recommend “working
with Pat” for cabinetry design.
It’s
difficult enough to compare one line of cabinetry to another. It’s
even more difficult to select a kitchen designer. In
early 2006, we confronted this issue of design talent ourselves. We
bought land on Rte 32, right on the Ulster County line,
and were about to start building a new and larger cabinet
showroom. We started interviewing designers...and...had
an epiphany. A few epiphanies actually
• Finding a designer who cares as much as we do is all but impossible.
• Finding designers of Pat's award-winning caliber is difficult.
• Building professionals who refer their customers to us don't want to work with a junior or associate or commissioned salesperson.
They
want the best. We think Pat is the best around.
She has an extraordinary sense of both aesthetics and functionality. She’s
an asker of questions about every need imaginable. And she’s a
great listener. (When you live with Art, you get used to listening.) She
cares about how short or tall you are; how much you can (or want to) bend or
reach; where you put your pots and how many you have; how much counter space
you need… everything. No detail is too small to consider. |

The finest custom, semi-custom and stock
cabinetry available
We sell three lines.
Dura Supreme is a semi-custom
line like Woodmode/Brookhaven and Dynasty/Omega. The company is second-generation,
privately owned, large enough to be state-of-the-art, small
enough to really care about its work. Its price point
is a bit lower than the competition. Dura Supreme doesn’t
advertise much; instead, it puts its dollars into its product. Consumers
Digest honored Dura’s general-purpose line, Crestwood,
as a uniquely good buy.
Plain & Fancy is the name-of-names in custom
cabinetry. It has stunning and distinctive looks that
no one in the industry can match. Pat really knows the
line. You’ve got to, since this is a line you can
do anything with. Pat has taken an intensive workshop
at Plain & Fancy and she works closely with the company’s
R&D and design people.
Tru-Wood is one of the few all wood stock lines made. Its drawers have dovetail joints and ful extension slides. Tru-Wood can deliver a complete kitchen in under four weeks and matches box store prices.
