Workshop
#9: Two minute kitchen design workshop
Have you ever stepped back from your own work to evaluate how well you have done on a large number of jobs over time?
I’ve now designed kitchens for 10 years. The last five years have been a special joy, working out of our own cabinet showroom.
Looking back on past jobs, I can quickly rate them in non-tech terms as wonderful in every way…or as a long and arduous road to a happy outcome. Some jobs seem to get to a rarified level in no time flat; others feel at times like they may never get there.
The kitchen in this newsletter is fabulous every time you see it. The client was a joy to collaborate with. The Kota Green Limestone floor, River Washed Pocono Green countertop and crackled Mexican tile backsplash are perfect complements to the Knotty Alder cabinetry around the borders of the room, pine ceiling and banquette, and the distressed and antiqued green cabinetry and teak countertop for the island. Everything works in beautiful harmony.
Thanks for taking a look. Regards,
