The kitchen measured in at 144 square feet. And the client’s wish list for this kitchen nearly equaled the size of the entire home-which was miniscule in size and magnificent in charm and view.

Wishes included:
• An island where a child could sit while meals were being prepared.
• Storage for myriad pots and pans, antique glassware, dishes and food. There was no room for storage elsewhere in the house.
• A streamlined modern look to include a large stainless steel peninsula hood.
• A trash pullout and a lazy susan.
• Space for a large, flat screened TV.
• Focus on the home’s spectacular view from the kitchen.
